THEY LOCK US OUT OF OUR OWN TOWN
SWALLOW THE PILL AND SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE
PLAY THE SICK, SAD CHARADE, SPEND YOUR CASH
AND TRY AND LOOK THE SAME
THE SUNS ECLIPSED BY FUCKING BRICKS
THE SKY HAS BEEN CUT UP BY WIRES
THIS IS YOUR CITY
THIS IS MY CITY
THESE ARE OUR CITIES
THAT THEY’VE TURNED TO SHIT
GO ON AND TAKE IT
TAKE IT BACK
OR STAY LOCKED OUT
THEY BUILD TOWER BLOCKS THAT BLOT OUT THE SUN
THEY TEAR US DOWN LIKE DERELICT SLUMS
TRY TO FILL MY MOUTH WITH SMOG
LEAVE US LINE THE RIVERS LIKE DROWNING DOGS

The best release from Swordwielder so far. I really enjoy the unusual twists and lyrical connotations. No "Satan Buttsex Beer" but kinda philosophical-existentialism with the brute darkness of reality. A.W.
Love the vibe of this project as a whole. SUPER depressed angry music which relies heavily on sound clips and audio collage is my jam especially in sludge. Feels like a more deprived and crusty version of Through Silver in Blood. Either way, the balance between the audio collage and more tradition crust/sludge sections is perfect and leaves me satisfied every time I listen (which is a lot) kaiiil
Aussie trio Burger Chef dish out a hearty helping of noise rock with a side of d-beat: messy, raw, and oh-so satisfying. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2022
This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018
On their ferocious self-titled debut, the Australian punks pit d-beat percussion against gnarled, metallic melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024
